Our 2019 tryouts have concluded. Did you miss tryouts? We will do limited late private evaluations. You must register below, then email to set up a private evaluation time. Space on teams may be limited.
INFORMATION FOR TRYOUTS:
If you cannot make it on the prescribed tryout day, please contact to arrange a private or video tryout. Tryout fees still apply.
Tryout fees are non-refundable. Any athletes who quit after team placement or fail to appear for tryouts forfeit all fees, and will not receive any team apparel.
A parent MUST be present at the beginning of the tryout to fill out paperwork. After paperwork is filed, parents may leave.
Tryouts will be based on skills assessment. We will evaluate athletes throughout the learning process and make initial placements based on what we see at tryouts and what we know of athletes’ prior cheer performance. (If you have questions regarding the placement of your child, they can be directed to team coaches). Initial tryout placement is not final. Athletes may be moved to other teams throughout the year at the discretion of the coaches.
Summer tumbling and team practices will begin June 3.
TRYOUT RESULTS: Results of the tryouts and practice times will be sent out via email provided and posted on to social media and the website (www.idahocheer.com) by Sunday, June 2nd. We will post first and last initials along with their tryout number.
Mandatory Team Meet & Greet: wED-THURS, June 5-6, 2019: Parent Meeting (at least one parent needs to be present) and Sizing will be scheduled for each team over these two dates. Athletes will be fitted for uniforms and practice attire at this time. Day/time will be announced with tryout results.
Mandatory Skills Camp and Choreography for All Star Elite athletes will be held July 22-31, 2019. Attendance is required, and exact schedule will be sent out about a month prior.
The tryout fee is non refundable. $100 of your tryout fee goes directly toward your competition fees for the season and $100 goes as a deposit toward uniform. Competition fees pay for cheer gear, camp, choreography, competition entry, coaches fees, music and USASF membership. Late tryouts require additional costs to cover any missed competition fee and/or uniform payments.
