What Are The Differences between Recreational Cheerleading Classes
and Competitive Cheerleading Teams?

Team Students may choose to perform on demo squads at local events LEVELS 1 & 2
Mini, Youth, Junior Teams
Senior Level 2 and
Levels 3 through  5
Placement Sign up anytime - Open to virtually anyone Tryout/placement
Every child will make a team
Tryout
Time Per Week 1 class per week
(45-60 mins)
2 practices per week
(1 to 1.5 hrs per practice)
2 practices per week
(2 to 2.5 hrs per practice)
Travel Local performances only (optional) October thru March
Approx. 4 competitions in southern Idaho
May thru April
Approx. 6 competitions locally, regionally, and nationally
