DIFFERENCES IN CLASS TYPES


  Here is a breakdown of our Recreational Cheerleading Classes and our Competitive Teams.

RECREATIONAL CLASSES


Team: Students may choose to perform on Demo Squads at local events (optional);

  otherwise just weekly rec instructional classes

Placement: Sign up anytime - Open to anyone

Weekly Time: 1 class per week (45-60 mins)

Travel: None, except for optional local performances

Commitment: Month-to-Month

Tuition: $50-$60 per month based on class type

COMPETITIVE TEAMS

Teams: Levels 1 and 2 (Mini, Youth, Junior Teams)

Placement: Tryout/Placement - every child will make a team

Weekly Time: 2 practices per week (1 to 1.5 hrs. per practice)

Travel: October through March there will be approximately 4 competitions in the Boise area

  and southern Idaho

Commitment: Entire Season (May through April)

BOISE TEAMS

Tuition: approximately $90 monthly

Additional Costs (all approximate):

  • $300 for competitions
  • $200 for uniform
  • Optional cheer gear and sweats


NAMPA TEAMS

Tuition: approximately $60 monthly

Workout Location: Johnson Sports Center at Northwest Nazarene University

Additional Costs (all approximate):

  • $275 for competitions
  • $200 for uniform
  • Optional cheer gear and sweats


Teams: Senior Level 2 and Levels 3 through 5

Placement: Tryout

Weekly Time: 2 practices per week (2 to 2.5 hrs. per practice)

Travel: May through April there will be approximately 6 competitions locally, regionally, and

  nationally

Commitment: Entire Season (May through April)

Tuition: approximately $140 monthly

Additional Costs (all approximate):

  • $700 for competitions
  • $300 for uniform and sweats
  • Shoes, make-up, hair bow, and cheer gear
  • Travel & Lodging for out-of-town competitions
